Pre-Registration Required Summersville Lake Stand Up Paddleboarding

Location: Summersville Lake – Battle Run Beach Area Address: Summersville, WV 26651, Nicholas County Community Captains: Megan & Barbie When: August 30th 10 am About This Event: Join Community Captains Megan and Barbie for an evening of Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) at beautiful Summersville Lake! This small-group paddle offers a relaxing and scenic way to stay active on the water. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required. What to Expect: • Beginner-friendly group paddle on flat water • Instruction and guidance from trained Community Captains • A calm, supportive environment with beautiful lake views • Registration is capped at 6 participants for safety and instruction quality How to Prepare: • Wear water-appropriate clothing or swimsuit • Bring water, towel, and sun protection • SUP boards and gear will be provided • Battle Run requires paid parking – bring cash or card • Arrive early to check in and prepare for launch


Registration to any Active SWV free programming indicates acceptance of our liability waiver for every adult and child attending. Please do not attend programs if you are not feeling well. https://rpb.li/rNo  Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children. It is our expectation for larger groups of children (e.g. Scouts, youth groups, etc), that an adult to child ratio of 1 adult to 5 children be observed in ages 5 and under, and 1 adult to 10 children be observed for ages 5 and above.   If you haven't already Join MemberPlus today, start here:  https://members.activeswv.org/member-application
