About This Event: Join Community Captain Julie and the Summersville Run Group for weekly runs in scenic locations around Summersville. Whether you’re training for a race or just looking to stay active, this group is a welcoming place for all runners. What to Expect: • Weekly meetups with routes that vary around Summersville • Supportive environment for all running paces and experience levels • Opportunity to explore beautiful trails and roads in the area How to Prepare: • Wear proper running shoes and comfortable athletic clothing • Bring water and any gear you may need for your pace or distance • Check the Facebook group each week for updated meeting spots and times

Please do not attend programs if you are not feeling well. Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children. It is our expectation for larger groups of children (e.g. Scouts, youth groups, etc), that an adult to child ratio of 1 adult to 5 children be observed in ages 5 and under, and 1 adult to 10 children be observed for ages 5 and above.
